Create a resist to make a seamless skirt and top without the use of a sewing machine, hand sewing may be required. You will explore design, measurement, and felting techniques and will leave with a finished one-of-a-kind outfit.

Day one: measure the body, design a pattern, make a resist and start laying out the skirt
Day four: felt/full and finish the top
Day two: felt/full and finish the skirt, and if time, make the resist of the top
Day three: start to lay out the top, begin to felt if time
Workshop days typically begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. or into the evening. The final workshop day may end by 4:00 p.m. for early departures. This is an advanced class, upper body strength and long hours are required.
WORKSHOP FEES: $425 for the four days (April 19-22, 2012). Meals and overnight accomodations are available for an additional $50 per day for a shared room, or $65 for a private room.
